CANFLEX FLEXIBLE DUCT CONNECTOR
- Developed as a substitute for canvas
- Greater strength at lower cost
- Non-porous – No air leakage
- May be used outdoors and in warm air plenums
- Flame resistant – Self extinguishing
- Moisture snd Mildew resistant
- High resistance to abrasion
CANFLEX was developed to replace Canvas which has been used for over 50 years as a flexible duct connector material. Today’s systems demand greater strength, less leakage, greater versatility and economy. CANFLEX offers all of these plus wide heat range, and excellent resistance to many chemicals and abrasives.
CANFLEX is a sturdy polyester woven fabric, heavily coated on both sides with polyvinyl chloride. It is supplied in 30m (100 ft.) coils of fabric joined on both sides to galvanized steel, or as a fabric only for special applications.
RECOMMENDED USES
CANFLEX is an inexpensive material which may be used with confidence in Heating, Air Conditioning and Ventilating Systems on both warm and cool sides of duct. Being highly resistant to microbial attack, and having superior resistance to sunlight, ultraviolet rays and ozone, it is well suited to damp locations (outdoor and below grade).
